well he says no...so he must be telling the truth. my guess is he is just scamming peoples money. happens all the time. scams one person makes 500$. easy cash. |

| I don't know my law too well, but isn't it illegal for a cop to break the law in order to catch somebody in the act of doing so? So if it was a cop then I guess you could report him/her or possibly sue. Keep in mind I know very little on the justice system (especially the American one) :clown: |

I don't know but they can pretend to be prostitutes in order to catch the would-be victims... It's called entrapment...

Yep, but they count on most people not knowing that. As a result, they can use intimidation and threats of "doing time" to get information. The second you mention your lawyer, they'll back off because you DO have rights ffs :whip: |

This has been around for ages, there were also groups who claimed to get their stuff through cc fraud. Of course they're all scams, because the police could track these people down by issuing a subpoena on their ISP - the only people who can't catch them are the poor fools who send them money hoping to get cheap .
It's almost a foolproof scam, because as someone else mentioned, what are you going to do, complain to the police about how you got ripped off in the process of trying to buy stolen merchandise? Some of these scammers actually made a load of money back in the day, but most people are wise to the scams now. |
