Ok.. We all have heard some type of Live set from a Dj. Whether it be Paul van dyk or Dave Clarke maybe Tiesto??? Or how about Mauro Picotto?
I was wondering how the hell do they record those LIVE SETS???? And get them to a decent quality?? |

| I've often wondered how they can get such a clean bassline and the crowd cheering also, cuz I would think you wouldn't hear the crowd if it comes directly from the mixer. Must be some extremely expensive mics or something. |

the recording comes from a line straight out of the mixer for the most part.
as for crowd noise, if there is no post-production done (ie, crowd noise is added to the recording later on), it is usualy because there are mics set facing out to the crowd for that express perpous |
