| hey guys, im in New York on vacation from Miami, and i just wanted to know if the roxy is a good trance club to go to? if not can you give me any suggestions to other clubs that play some good trance music? |

Roxy doesn't have a regular Friday event - different promoters have the place each week, so the music is whatever they want it to be
There's an Asian party there that night. It'll be mostly hip-hop/reggae/R&B after midnight or so.
I supposedly have a chance to spin there for a little during the first hour, along with a friend from San Francisco, but we'll have to see if that actually happens. If it does, then there will be some trance in the beginning.
Saturdays is gay night at Roxy.
If you want trance all night, try Vudu Lounge, where a new weekly event is starting that night (Friday).
You can also try Avalon on Friday, with Johnny Vicious
There's a psy-trance event at Arc on Saturday.
And though more progressive than trance, Hernan Cattaneo (with Jason Jollins, one of the locals def worth checking out) will be at Centro-Fly on Saturday. |

| COOL, Avalon sounds like my best bet then. Is Avalon 21+ for everyone? cause im 21, but my gf is 20. do u know if she will be able to get in? |

avalon is 18 to party, 21 to drink...you might try crobar as well , and centro fly |

lol theres a crobar here in NY also? good stuff. are all these clubs located in manhatten? cause im in staten island so i know how to get to manhatten by the fairy. |

| Addicted @ the vudu lounge is a party JUST for trance...it opens up on the 23rd...if you are interested..check it out.its not a huge venue..but this party sounds really interesting...a trance night in the Upper east side of manhatten |
