Welp-
I have lived in San Diego for 32 years. Friend just moved out to Ft Lauderdale and loves it out there. I was thinking of moving out there myself. Just sick of San Diego I guess. Cost of living out there is apparently WAY cheaper. Any know how the job situation is out there? I am in the IT field. I could go to Space! yay.

Sick of San Diego?!
In terms of whether the diffrence between the two cities is that Ft. Lauderdale is hotter and humider.
While I don't know much about life itself there as I've only spent limited amount of time there I think I'd still rather be in San Diego. |

I wasn't referring to SD and Ft. L per se, but generally moving in response to your cynical remark about uniformity everywhere |

try it out, but be prepared for the humidity.
and you always get sick of the place you live in if you live there too long. Its ike having a pool in your backyard, its sweet the first year or two, then it just loses its appeal. |

| Why don't you fly out there for a couple of days and see how you like it? Just observe the city and the atmosphere and see if you like it better out there. The humidity might take some getting used to from what i hear. |
