New York just keeps on making the wrong moves. What do you get when you have an unlimited budget, and a need to bring together a bunch of over-priced under-achievers? The Rangers :p
It's supposed to be JJ for Anson Carter - nothing on the money involved, or details. But hey, it does end speculation that's been going around for the past few months.

| Jagr is a lazy ass mofo. He has NO WORK ETHIC, hence why he has not done of late and it won't change in New York. I say Washington got the better player. |

Jagr, one of my favorites of all time
the legendary team, Mario and Jagr, my prime in my hockey days, absolutely was a huge Lemieux and Jagr Fan.
my two favorite hockey teams are The Islanders and The pens.
You can see how this is a problem for me, being that I hate the rangers.
in short, Jagr just joined the all star team with the special ed Coach. More Superstars arent going to help the rangers.

It's funny how players just melt away into obscurity when they get traded to the Rangers. Look at Greg de Vries - when he was with the Avs, he was solid, but has anyone heard from him lately? Look at Bure - okay, so he's got wonky knees, but still, there's even talk of hi retiring now. Nedved - when he was with the Pens he was good, not great, but decent - how's he with the Rangers? And the Big E - okay, so lately he's been playing like his old self, and although he was beset by injuries, still. With Jagr's work ethic the Rangers won't be getting anywhere.
What the Rangers need is to get Richter come back out of retirement :D

You've got Ottawa with a strong developemental system, a great team ethic and top notch coaching, absolutely demolishing a pack of high priced free agents with no direction or purpose and a :haha:
So they have Jagr now? If he wakes the up maybe this team can go somewhere, but I doubt it.

i think hockey really needs a Salary cap, to prevent the rangers from sucking more..
Dont get me wrong I'm lovin' it that the rangers are getting spanked left and right and tossed around like a slab of old meat, but im starting to feel bad for them ya know... |

| WHAT THE HELL? RANGERS LOST TO THE LOWLY SABRES TODAY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the looks of it, Rangers will need a miracle to make the playoffs this year. I like them, but I am getting really fed up with them getting better players and continuing to miss the playoffs! And now I think I realized the major problem on the team - GOALTENDING! Bring in some goaltender from somewhere in the league, like from Red Wings for example - and I am telling ya they will make the playoffs! Need a spark! I am pretty sure Hasek will fit in well in NYC! :nervous: :rolleyes: |
