ahhh funny you should mention that i was JUST listening too Paul Mooney (famous black comedian, wrote for eddie murphy, richard prior at thier prime) he was paying out on hammer for being a black man "dancing for a piece of chicken" (hammer did some kfc commercials)
"if hammer wants a mothering piece of chicken go to his grandmas house she will fry up some 10 times better then that popcorn eeee!"
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehehehhee its from the album "race" get it :) |

Has anyone here been to a live minimalistic performance?
It's actually freaky stuff! You feel as though you're in a place where you shouldnt be.
Performing minimalistic works [with other people] though, is actually quite cool! Add improvisation to the bowl and it's some chaotic fun!
One thing I must mention to all this coolness is that John Cage owns you all.
For a big [and hyped] recital, he sat @ the piano, and played absolutely nothing. Yes that is right, he sat there, closed his eyes, and listened to silence [with everybody else].
Though, I don't think Mr Cage looked anywhere near as cool as Mr Glass! :haha: |
