Clubs in Florida

Hey Everyone,
I wasn't sure where to ask this, but a friend of mine is going to Floria for a week. He'll be around 20 minutes away from Cape Canavaril (sp?) Does anyone know any clubs worth checking out in that area for some slamming trance?

| Damm .. cape canaveral, its not what I would call a city, its like in central florida, and its got nothing around, well, maybe some houses, and farms... and well, the beach might be the most active place there, but clubs in there, I doubt there'll be any slamming trance there, there is where the Rockets are lunched and so on .... plus, is on central florida, its known for its breaks, closes there I can think is Orlando , wich I heard it has some good trance clubs, but dont know more .. |

| club Icon is in orlando.not sure how close that is to CC, but i've heard good things about it and i know they headline bigtime djs :cool: |

Cape Canaveral is about 45 minutes from Orlando. There are a few good clubs in Orlando...depends what type you are looking for.
You have Tabu, which is a Hollywood type club (Pretty strict dress code...people are all there for image, rich boy coke heads driving thier corvettes, fake chicks with fake , etc.)
Then you have Icon...which isnt nearly as bad as Tabu, but they do have a bit of a dress code (no ratty riped up jeans, wife beaters, etc.)
And then you have The Club at Firestone...most like a rave (no dress code, many people rolling, etc.)
All the above clubs are not strictly Trance...like mentioned Breaks are big here, so usually one night it'll be breaks, and another night could be trance. If you know what days he will be here I could give you more specifics...or let you know if any DJ will be in town. We have Sander Kleinenberg this Saturday at Icon, and all the big DJ's have been through so we do get them once in a while. |

yoo Viceroy, if your friend is doing like a tour, if he ever goes to South FL,
He must check this clubs on friday and saturday night
Club Stereo
Crobar
Liquid
level
Space
Shadow Lounge
Fuel
and theres bunch more that have goood DJ's and maybe superstar DJ's, remember, most of satuday nights this clubs offer trance and prog. house.. Space shadow lounge and club stereo are definetly trance and progressive on Saturdays.
Thats south FL thats if he ever feels going south ;) |
