Im a bit curious about what you think of the Swedish players in your squad.
Eventhough Henrik Larsson is a living legend at Celtic, does the fact that he has decided to leave the club in the sumer when his contract expires piss you off? Right now theres a big campaign to get him to come out of retirement and play for our national team again. 120 000 people have signed an online petition to get him back.
And what do you think about Hedman and Mjällby? Do they still play or do they spend their days on the bench? Can you believe that the managers of our national team used to play Mjällby as the offensive central midfielder in a diamond 4-4-2 formation. The same position as Zidane plays and this farce went on for years. |

Henrik larsson has nothing left to prove to celtic fans. it's a disappointment that he is leaving but i'm not in any way angry.
as for mjalby i think he was a good defender but is now starting to show his age a bit, i don't understand why he played in the position he did for sweden because his ball control is terrible.
hedman has not performed for celtic when it matters, he let in a soft goal in our first champions league game and in our last. if we had another keeper then we would now be in the last stage of the champions league. i think he is all to happy to sit on the bench and pick up his wages at the end of the week. The keeper who left javier sanchez broto, to be replaced by hedman was so much better at everything. |

henrik larsson is a legend in the east end of glasgow and always will be, it is very sad hes leaving but he gave us like 3 years to find a replacement (still havent got 1)
he has showed great loyalty and service towards the club, unlike many other footballers nowadays
hedman is a decent goalie but hes cust us a few vital champions league points this year, effectively ending our champions league campaign
funnily enough i saw henrik tonight, i drove past him |

Henrik can sleep with my wife if HE wants...that's how much he means to Celtic fans. He is by far the best player I have ever watched.
When he makes a decision, he normally sticks to it....so hE may not bend to pressure from the Swedish public.
Mjallby is now past his peak, he panics on the ball at times and is caught for pace on a number of occassions. As for Hedman, it's already been mentioned here about his high profile cock-ups in the Champions League. He is nothing more than a decent keeper.
As for seeing Henrik, he shops in my local Sainsbury's in Hamiltion, along with Barry Ferguson (when he's home) and Willie Falconer. |

Thanks alot for the answers guys this was just what I was looking for.
Henrik Larsson is a big legend in Sweden too. He was actually voted the best Swedish player of the 20th century! A bit exaggerated if you ask me, but it goes to show how much the Swedish people likes him.
I hope that Henrik goes to Portugal for the European Championship. I really like his playing style. Although he scores a lot of goals he works so hard and sets up a lot of goals for his team mates. He's a true professional with a great attitude towards the game.
Besides, who the hell is going to partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front? Marcus Allbäck of the Aston Villa bench, what a joke.
Both Hedman and Mjällby seem to be at the end of their careers. Hedman was always overated if you ask me, but now thanks to the good form of Andreas Isaksson he has lost the number one shirt in the national team. Also I really dislike players who issues "come get me pleas" like he did when he was at Coventry.
Anyhow, next time you see Henrik tell him how beautiful Portugal is in the summer. =) |

| I don't need to say anything about Larsson, but I nver really was a fan of Mjallby, he always looks dodgy and can't pass to save himself. I feel a we bit sorry for the way things have gone for Hedman though. |

"Soccer"????
What league do you prefer...
England - 2/3 team league - Man U & Arsenal...possibly Chelsea (no one else)
Dutch - 3 team league - Ajax, Feyenord & PSV
Portugal - 3 team league - Porto, Sporting & possibly Benfica
Greece - 3 team league - Pana, POAK, Olympiakos
My point...it's not uncommon for leagues around the world to be dominated by a couple of teams who get stronger and stronger (England being the latest example)and this will only get worst as the fiancial difficulties of a lot of clubs force them out eg. Fiorentina, Torino, Leeds and Monaco nearly went bust last year. |
