hmb - catch

btw, it is a bit rough, and i am aware of that

progressive trance kind of :D
i like it around 3:20, should make the strings or pads louder, make them more noticable
also those FX at around 4+ minutes, they are very dreamy , i like it, kind of like james holden :)
and make those beets a little quiter
other than that it rocks
if its made in reason do u mind if i have a go at remixing it? :)
or maybe u can give me a midi
pm me the info if u want

As I was saying, this is probably the best tune I've heard from you. It all sounds a lot fuller and when the second melody comes in at 5:20 or so it's very hypnotic. Simple but effective melodies and the pads/strings do wonders in terms of atmosphere. The percussion is interesting too. In fact it's all very simple, which I think is a good thing. Lots of music tends to get overproduced which can lead to messiness, whereas this is more pure and oldschool sounding. Dreamy stuff overall.

wow.. this one is deserving a little more feedback people!

in terms of style.. you're spot on.. this kind of stuff is great. you can put an atmosphere into your track, that is very important. production-wise it's probably not good enough though.. dunno if it's the mastering, the EQ's or even the mp3 quality but something isn't sounding pro. that drum roll is kinda sounding wrong as well.. sort out the reverb or timing.

onto the good parts again. it's not that simple, or well, the single elements may be, but the track sounds very well structured. nice little details with the fx's there in the break. i'd like to know what you use in all those low pads too, cause they sound excellent :) melodies are simple again but all fit very very well with each other, you know music theory?

keep them coming, i'm liking your stuff a lot.

Crap...how did I miss this thread :wtf:

Man, Hadi, I haven't seen you in a while, and it's good to see you on this track.

First things I gotta say I liked.

1.Kicks
2.Basses
3.Pads, SFX
4.Slight Percussions

Hadi man! This song has Beauty man! It has much simplicity! I'm telling you man, 'HMB' is my favorite project of yours. This is better than 'Touched the Stars' and exceeded the skill level of your past songs. This is your best song mate! Like most said, it has that James Holden feel to it, which make it feel nice.

Only problem - it feels a bit 'dry' in some areas. Keep up the work mate, and don't stop! :( Too bad I don't see you online as much, since you started going to school.
