Poll: WMC Dinner or BBQ???

Ok there seems to be a few people that would rather have a bbq instead of the dinner. Damon and myself both disagree and think that the dinner is the simple and easy way to go but we would like everybodys feed back on the issue so this is the only fair way to do it. Ill keep this thread open for about 15 days so make your vote if you plan on attending and we will take it from there.
some pros/cons........
BBQ.....Fit more people, set up music, can pretty much do whatever we want but it takes more planning and getting food would be a hastle. Also...everybody pitching in for the food is a nightmare waiting to happen.
Dinner.....Simple and doesnt take much planning. Everybody can have separate checks but we are kinda limited to the number of people that can come....depending on where the dinner is held. |

It should be interesting to see if a group of this size does get together, i.e. agree on a time and place, and then actually show up, but anyways...
If a BBQ is to be done, where exactly would it happen ? |

Somebody was talking about some warehouse off 95 not to far from downtown Miami. This is one of the reaons a bbq is a pain in the ass. Most people arnt familiar with the area. And im pretty sure 60-70 people inside some old warehouse isnt exactly legal. |

| i LOVE the idea of a bbq, but im not so worried about how illigal it is in a warehouse (because ive been to more illigal warehouse parties) but the safety, running a bbq in a warehouse is gonna let like starting your car inside a closed garage, bad news bears. |

Yeah but you gotta remember.......not all NYTA's brouse the FL forum so we cant forget about those people. Who cares if people vote twice.....Damon and myself will add all the votes up together after the 9th and take it from there. |

I'm in for the dinner.
I think the BBQ would be on Friday, and most of us do not fly in until Friday. BBQ on Sunday would be awesome.

If was to come down there I would have to say BBQ... plus in an empty warehouse with people spinning, how phat would that be - we would have a club of our own for a short while. Plus Ill be cooking up a STOOOOOOOOOOOOOORM on that grill.
BTW who cares about legal? Since when do addicts abide by law? |

It will be on a sunday, either BBQ or Dinner. As for where the BBQ would be held. People suggest the warehouse, but I still say that there are some parks close by South Beach and so on where it could be done. It just needs a bit more research. |

Yes, this sounds awesome and i would love to have a TA bbq in a warehouse with people spinning and whatever but not in the middle of WMC!!! This takes to much planning, time, confussion, not to mention its a pain in the ass. There are already partys going on durring WMC. Why not just have a dinner and make things simple. It will give everybody time to relax and get some food in their stomaches before we all go get wasted @ Tiesto;) |
