Marco V bio:
Marco v has been around for many years, as an inventive, style-blending DJ and a successful and devoted producer. This combination of producing and DJ'ing gained him the number 15 spot in this years international DJ Mag Top 100 list.
Even though he has played in very different locations, and with house-music constantly changing shape, Marco succeeded to create a genuine 'Marco v' sound, easily recognizable by its constant drive and uplifting melodies. People love him for it and he never leaves the dance floor empty.
No matter if it's a huge event such as Sensation, Dance Valley or Global Gathering, or a regular party at a club, "The audience is always my first concern. If the music is great, but the party isn't happening, something is definitely going wrong. I try to prove that it is possible to create a happy atmosphere with quality music. It is not the easiest way to play, but it has kept me around for all these years."
He intends to stay around for some more, his latest projects being mixed compilations for both Gatecrasher(UK) and Government(CAN). These are not his first. He, for instance, compiled and mixed Innercity 2000 and 2002 and his own artist-profile compilation, which will be, released early 2004.
Marco also knows all about producing. His career got an enormous boost after the release of "Godd" and "Simulated", which were both big successes in clubs worldwide. They paved the way for his first album called "Con:Fusion" which was released in 2002 and was awarded "best dance artist album" at the BBM dance awards that year. His version of the house classic 'Loops'n'Tings' will also be released soon (Marco V vs. Jens).
DJ Laki bio:
Having grown up in Prague, Czech Republic, in midst of the electronic music revolution Lazar Radenovic, a.k.a 'Dj Laki' actively took part in organizing and promoting events in the city for many years.
In 1999, Lazar moved to Reading in the United Kingdom, where he firmly established himself as a Dj and a promoter. 'Climas', a monthly club event where Dj Laki was a resident, was a catalyst to Lazar's success at Djing. The manager of Reading's super club, 3-sixty, overheard one of his sets and offered him a residency. The weekly event, called 'Beatfeast' was held every Friday. It was here that Dj Laki had the opportunity to play alongside world renowned Djs and artists such as Danny Rampling, Prodigy, Mr. C, Stanton Warriors, LTJ Bukem, and Lisa Pinup.
Following the success of this weekly, Lazar went on to play regular gigs in London's Rampage bar, Revolution, and Yo!Below (with Dj Will T.) Lazar has also co-promoted a monthly event called 'House..Cats' (Reading). He and Will T. placed second and third (Berk's District) in a Ministry of Sound endorsed Dj competition. Further achievements included playing for the Junction 11 radio station in Reading, and hosting a 'chill out' room for the RUSU annual festival. October 2002, Lazar decided to move to Toronto, Canada to rejoin family. During his stay in Toronto, Lazar has preformed as Dj Laki at the Guvernment, Systemsound Bar, Cream, Insomnia Bar, Mad Bar, and Ice Lounge. He signed with Rampant promotions and was added to their roster as one of their international house/tech-house Djs.
