Help: Making my own music
View this Thread in Original format
DJ-Kreing^^
Hello Tranceaddicteds.
i was playing at parties for sometime now, i guess you can call me a
beginner amature DJ. And after watching 'Kevin and prerry - Go large'
(the funiest movie i have ever seen) i came up with an idie of creating my own music.
the onley problem is i dont got any hardware for that job (or any money to by the hardware).
all i got is my computer and some little programs, thats why i need your help
Plz if you can, tell me about good programs that i can download and use to make music, or where i can get cool samples and loops, or even if you can help me with the tune himself
Private MSG me or post a replay here

cheers
DJ Cheesy
Reason is great, pretty much all you need. Its basically thousands of dollars worth of synthesizers and drum machines and effects and stuff like that crammed into software.
http://www.propellerheads.se

Also:
Cubase VST
ReBirth 2 (kinda like a lite version of Reason)

These are a few hundred US$ each.
dazzed
now the next big question is.

where can we get that software for free =)
DJ-Kreing^^
well all i have to do now is try to find them somewhere here in the internet, if i wont ill have to spend someoff my poor money :(
Any more tips for me??

You can get it from Hotline or Kazaa or just about any other file sharing system that shares programs [or so I've heard ;) ]

The only problem is Reason comes on 2 CDs, the program disk and the soundbank disk. The program disk is about 300 MB but you only need a 15MB or so installer, but you will need the full 508MB soundbank disk.

Software piracy is bad.
TO get started in making Trance the best way is to learn on friutyloop's i have been making trane music for five years now and that's how i started out just on friutyloop's you can download it on the net but you need a crack to get it working.I hope this help's you out dood.

just that you know it, you can make pretty good trance by hitting a spoon to a sponge:p but seriously, fruityloops kick ass, if u understand it, that is... use lots of reeverb, delay and filters, and if u do it rite, you can make just as nice trance on fruity that u can with reason or whatever you wanna use
