Live Sets ?????

A friends of mine has been working on a new EDM website and he asked me for some live sets to post on his site but we need your help.
1st> Can we post any live set we want ?
2nd> is it legal to do so ?
3rd> What's the best way to post live sets so people can download it/them without any problem ?

| hmm, probably not legal unless you have the permission of the artist. otherwise, your friend will potentially be making money off of other peoples music and could get sued. but im not a lawer. |

You need the permission of the artist itself AND i believe also permission of the record labels and stuff.

but the live sets we'd be posting were broadcasted and I recorded them myself, I've seem the same sets on other sites though!!!
do i still need to contact the artist ?
Is it legal if the were broadcast and I recorded them ?
We will NOT be making any profit, everything will be 100% FREE !
