| if you are willing to make a 30-45 minute commute by train, you would want something that is on the Redline(train)....as those people above said, rents in the area of MGH (Beacon Hill, North End), rents for a 1 bedroom start at a minimum of $1200/month....i would suggest you look at places to live in Quincy, Dorchester, Somerville, or Cambridge, all along the redline, which stops at MGH, making it convienient...you could also look out in the areas of Allston, Brighton, and Brookline, a bit more expensive that Quincy or Dorchester, however, you would have to use the Greenline, than switch to the Redline, making the commute about an hour each way....best bet is to check out craigslist, and get a sublet situation of some sort, to avoid paying fees... |
