problems with brinkster?!?!

Two words....
BRINKSTER SUCKS.
They don't allow remote linking of thier images anymore. It's an attempt at saving bandwidth from users who use thier space for storage use only.
It's time you all find a new host!

You need to upload your sig to a host that will allow you to remote link images from their webserver.
You can't use brinkster for sigs or posting pictures on here anymore! Just about all free-hosts end up doing this (remote-linking) to save on bandwidth.
I'll be on the lookout for good (free) hosts that allow remote-linking..
any suggestions people? |

Ok i've found a list of potential free hosts for remote-loading sigs/pics...

I can't confirm ANY of those... so just read thier TOSs & see for yourself.
I also found this host... they seem to have a free hosting plan that would be perfect for sig hosting... but they dont look too professional (the signups aren't automatic)

ALSO... if you have an ISP such as @Home, Road Runner, or AOL- those service providers all give you webspace with your internet account (that allow remote linking)! The ISP you use may offer free webspace to it's customers, so check with them. If they do, chances are very high that the webspace also allows remote-linking.

I have AOL and I don't know how to get my webspase!!!!:mad:

martijn ntl give us 10mg and this actually works, well most the time and they dont give a what u do with it, to upload to it u need an ftp proggie like cute ftp but if u want uploading, send it me over icq and as im on cable ill upload it quick! :)

got DJ Martijn's problem taken care off...that's Y U can C his sig now...I got a webpage that has no restriction, and I'm usin' it only for resources, so if U guys want Ur sigs back, PM me! (but don't ask me to get ALL Ur pics posted..I ain't gettin' paid, U know?)
