| Hello my UK friends, In may im planning a trip to spain and have found a heavily discounted flight that runs through london gatwick airport. In your opinion is 2.5 hours enough time to switch airlines and board another flight? Thanks in advance, A toronto TA (TOTA) |

Yeah it should be. To get off a plane from canada, probably on he north terminal, get ur luggage, get the lil monorail thing over to the other terminal, check in, eat an omelette and fries from garfunkels and then go thru to boarding.
It is certainly a little tight, spesh as the longer flight, and hence more possibility of delay is the first one. |

As long as its a transfer you'll be fine.
If you have to pick up your luggage, go throuhg passport contronl, re-check in, then that is cutting it mighty fine. If all your doing is getting off a plane, and going over to get another one loasd of time.
Check that its a transfer first. Even if it isnt you really shouldnt have to pick your luggage up again anyway, its just getting through passport control and checking in again that can take time. Ive seen miles upon miles of non-EU nationals cueing to get through passport control. |

| Gotta love the EU citizen only line. lol. The looks i get from the people who have canadian and other various yank passports when i just pass by them and go through the EU passport control and just flash my passport without any waiting. :disbelief :stongue: :haha: |
