Thank you for all those who support this.

Also, i think nurse glow will b posting some of Skoof's live sets and tracks on raveclick.com , so feel free to download and see if this event is something that interests you. Once again, Thank you all and much love.

If anyone is interested I wrote a review of last friday's party for RAVECLiCK.

The music was incredible. DJ Skoof spun the best trance set I have heard in a long time.

what, have you been hiding under a rock? is scooter your idol? you surely jest, do you not?

OH YES, like the trance remix i heard of harry belafonte's banana boat song, and if you dont know what i'm talking about it goes like this: "daaaaaaaaay oh... daayyyy oh.. they like come and they wanna go home.." yes, i am NOT kidding.

give..me..a..BREAK! i was waiting to hear a trance remix of the ing electric slide for 's sake. i ran out of there screaming for my life.

and i'm not even gonna MENTION the crowd.. ok, yes i will: it was a ing school dance: boys standing on one side of the dance floor, girls on the other. soon as they got bombed off 2 watered down drinks, it was grinding and sandwiching on the dance floor by drunken frat boys and slutty chicks. jc.

Uh...to each his own, but no I am not joking...

Do you know what an opinion is?
I didn't say "everyone in the place thought it was the best since nutella".

FYI i didn't like that banana boat song either...but that doesn't mean i didn't like a lot of the other tunes that were spun.

...and if you bothered to read the review you would see that I also thought the crowd was lame...

I was there from midnight till close...and I thought his mixes were totally sick!

you also said "He soon jumped back on the decks and started throwing down some of the best trance I have heard in quite some time. In fact I hadn’t heard anything like this in my last fours years in NYC."

this pretty much guarantees the fact that you really don't go out much...
IamNotM2
I'm not sure what part of that statement you don't understand...but I stand by what I said.

Have you thought for a second that maybe I don't like the typical *trance* played here?

Before living in NYC, I lived near Tampa in FL. The Progressive and melodic trance is much different than anything I have heard here...
Although SKoof's set matched it. That's the kind of *trance* i'm into.

this is y nyc has a problem..EVERYTHING THINKS THEY KNOW EVEYRTHING..what ever happened to having fun..partying..enjoying life....and jsut letting things b..now everyone nit picks..and everyone bitches abotu EVERYTHING...now..ill b honest..peopel have a right to their opinions..and its all good..i just miss a scene where everyoen was welcoem..noobies...old schooelrs..everyone..adn nobody was critisized or anythign liek that..jsut brought into our scene with open arms...love...peace..and a nightlife free of all negativity..but i can get itnot his for hours..so i figured i would leave it at that...its all good...peopel are people..different folks..different strokes..much unconditional love to everyone. and if anyone has any replies to this..please dont post it up here.cause i wont b reading it..i dotn want to get involved in messege board drama. as for skoof..here is a live set of his i found on teh net...enjoy... http://www.ebolacola.net/music/skooflive.mp3
