Vending business anyone?

Anyone here ever got involved with the vending business? I was thinking about it for some extra income. I came across something nice on http://www.123vending.com/ and thought I'd share what I was looking into. Can anyone give any advice on getting started in this arena, making wise decisions, being sucessful, etc.? Advice from someone who's done it before is preferred. Also, keep in mind that I'm in the US and marketing strategies may differ between countries, depending on where you are. Is it advisable to buy a book on this stuff? I see these books selling for ~100 USD that claim to have evrything in it, but it sounds like a scam. No book can have EVERYTHING in it... LOL
PS: I don't want to hear any flames. Just people who are really interesting in answering my questions... |

| yep I worked for a guy once who had that kind of job.....pretty cool just make sure you get lots of accounts and focus on Computer company's and Car dealer ships.....good money for stocking soda all day....lots of one dollar bills....lots |

My friend who is trying to be an actor does this along with modeling. Says it is some decent cash on the side.
but you have to work kinda hard. Especially finding good spots that are not taken. Just do some recon. around the area and look for your target crowd.
but me personally, sorry I cannot help with any usefull advice. |
