ing drug users are destroying the scene..
There Would not be a scene to destroy if it werent for drugs, but then again, look at clubs and what alchohol does, the effects are pretty much the same |

You see I said it.. no matter WHAT you say you CANNOT disprove that. (try me)
Whether its speed, E, (even pot to an extent) etc. your the ones who are destroying the scene.
What's is *almost* worse is ginos and who go to raves to be seen. Usually taking drugs, but if their not, they're still showing off their six-pack and being generally s.
you.

Time to lash out........cause I can
Drugs give the scene culture. I love to escape and let loose from regular day to day bull. It's the abusing overdosers that it up...
the stupid s that think 5 E's aren't enough and that maybe if they went on 10 more with some G.....everything would be kickass....
stupid stupid stupid stupid.........with any substance, there is still responsibility...
AND YOU........YOU DUMB
speed: gimme a in break<-----truck drivers use speed
E: The Ultimate Club Drug there is<------better than drinking
Pot: when was the last time someone died of a pot overdose<---you stupid
it's the drugs like
Katamine, GHB, Horein
Have you ever seen someone ready to kink out on G before........???it's not pretty???.........have you ever seen someone on horein, wrapped up in garbage bags and shakin with a smile on their face......???must be fun???
and K: works really well when my cat is pissing me off....it puts the in thing to sleep
I do agree with you on that Gino thingy but that can't be said for all of them...........
the people that ruin it are the following:
Euro beat Gino's
Snobby sluts
People that think Drugs ruined the scene
Drug Dealers
Drug Abusers
People that are too mature for Glowsticks
Commercial DJ's and Producers
:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:
that's enough outta me......I'm done here |

> sylphin let me ask you do you drink?
Sure.. I've also done e and speed if your interested (not for a long time mind you)
>There Would not be a scene to destroy if >it werent for drugs, but then again, look >at clubs and what alchohol does, the >effects are pretty much the same
I totally disagree (too a point). Do you believe that in the UK when the first started throwing parties that the DJs though lets mix drugs and dance music?.. OF COURSE NOT!, (most) promotors are legit (wish all were), most dj's aren't (weren't) there to make people trip out. I think the scene would be smaller if drugs were less prelevant (probably would be much better too.. cause it'd keep all teh abusers out)
Phase: I totally do not assume people do drugs!!..
Debating over alcool and E is POINTLESS!!.. true alcool is harmless in moderation.. but is E really harmless?.. do you *REALLY* know.. you have to understand that there's a fine line with drug control policy..
For pot.. for example, I believe its illegal because (I find) people get more often high on pot, then drunk on alcool... proportionally.. (that is people having a glass of wine for supper).. but I dont want to get into that..
>it sounds to me like your point should >be "ing government and people in >charge of this world are destroying the >scene."
Of course, but they have to draw a line somewhere.. there's a gray area on both sides, and they decided that people taking illegal chemicals is on the bad side. Seriously, by legalising E, the population would be less productive, having to recover to 2 days after a club night/party.. (or something along those lines..).
ie. the government wants to keep you productive (I'm sure that's not a surprise to you)
Maybe the day will come where E (or speed) or whatever, will be viewed as a harmless substance, but the government is just trying to protect evreyone, the law has to be set somewhere no?
>speed: gimme a in break<-----truck >drivers use speed
So does airforce pilots.. so inherntly its 'safe'.. but lets have kids taking at all night parties, unknown quality, if it was really safe, it'd be called in the pharmacy (dont kid yourself, it'd be there pharmasutecal compagnies would be right there)
>E: The Ultimate Club Drug there >is<------better than drinking
Says who?.. I've NEVER read a serious article (published by a REPUTABLE source) that says that.. once again, its VERY much a gray area.. (like pot). What I know is an article saying that casual regular use results in loss brain cells (in rats)
>Pot: when was the last time someone >died of a pot overdose<---you stupid >
Totally different subject, closer to the middle of the 'gray area' than E.
There's nothign wrong with pot, there is something wrong wiht people getting stoned like crazy (just like there's something 'wrong' with people getting bombed with alcool)
What my point is again, is that I'm fed up with the shutdowns, regulations, cops at parties, making it nearly impossible for small promotors to throw good parties, etc.. And only cause of all these regulations (headaches) are 'drugs'.
(bleh i'm tired now) |

Hey all...
Everyone has valid points here, but I'm wondering.. when you take some synthesized drug, do you wonder about the sloppy chemistry behind it or the permanent neurological effects of some substance that has no natural metabolic pathway? I mean.. to put it in plain English, how do you know that the byproducts of the breaking down process of the synth'd drugs that you take aren't dangerous to you in the long term? I know no one likes to think about that.. I'd personally never touch any synth'd drug but I wouldn't be as reluctant with drugs like pot, shrooms, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. We've been exposed to these chemicals ever since we've been little furry rat-sized critters scurrying around the trees millions of years ago, so naturally we've evolved ways to break them down relatively harmlessly to say LSD which does not exist in nature. Not to mention that a lot of these synth reactions don't go all the way to completion, nothing really ever does - so you're left with a bunch of impurities, even if in trace amounts. Then again, everyone's exposed to other synth'd compounds like preservatives, etc.. but at least their content of impurities is government regulated, unlike some guy sitting in a lab somewhere thinking of his next cash payment after he produces the next batch.
I'm bored so I'll out some more words.. MDMA in the short run causes an increase of seratonin producing neurons - could be a good thing as depression has been linked with not having enough seratonin producing neurons, but brain tumors are also neuronal growths.. fun eh? MDMA over multiple exposures also causes a radical shift in brain structure.. what's that mean? who knows? we hardly know about the brain. Usually they call this structure changing, brain damage. We won't know until some time from now when we're all old enough to make some nice statistics. Enough rambling
Just some food for thought,

hmmmm.....I don't know for sure, but I thought mdma depletes serotonin ....( seratonin- is your personality )......do you ever notice at the end of a night or during, that people on E become monotonous...( not to everybody, but it happens )....and would that be the reason that some serotonin in their brain has depleted...
now there's something that makes more sense....If E was good for you...don't you think they would've legalized it
I believe that substance abuse is bad for you........doing drugs every now and again or doing small doses shouldn't be that harmful |

Cool that you brought that up.. I was talking more about the permanent structural changes of the brain... What E does, is that it prevents the uptake of seratonin from the receptors.. Your brain is always releasing seratonin from one nerve cell to another, and when the receiving nerve cell gets a seratonin signal, it acts on it and removes the seratonin from its receptor. So here's where E comes into the picture, it doesn't let that seratonin be removed, so the receiving nerve cell permanently acts on that signal until the E is broken down naturally. Doesn't seem to be a bad thing right? Well the brain isn't a defenceless organ like you might have thought, so it sees that something is ing with the seratonin levels, says to itself, "Well , it looks like I'm making too much seratonin, and even if I'm not, gotta turn down the levels a bit".. So when E wears off, you're left with really low seratonin levels which physically manifests itself as the 'coming down' phase of the high, since you've now got the seratonin levels of a severely depressed individual =)
It's amazing how much fun science can ruin haha... (if you like eating cookies and donuts don't ever take lipid biochemistry)
Peace,
