consequences of under-aged clubbing?

| yo, i've got a 20 year old friend who extremely wants to go to spundae on feb 28th, if he got away with a fake idea, what are the consequences if he were to get caught inside the club? .. i mean, he's not going to be drinking or anything, just enjoy the show.. they wouldn't arrest him for that or anything, would he? |

| once you're in the club, i wouldn't worry. i would say 99% of the time, underaged people are caught at the door. usually when that happens, they'll keep the ID and send em home. i know a few people who this had happend to before. no legal action was ever taken, just a lost ID. |

I am on my 4th ID. I don't turn 21 until May 28; it's horrible because my boyfriend is 23 and also a DJ so we really can't go see a good name DJ at a nice clubs.
You always get caught at the door. Just make sure you know the info on the ID and are able to do the signature. I would still have 2 IDs if I knew how to sign that persons name. Always be calm and don't recite the info like you are getting quizzed.
Usually the bouncer just pockets the ID and tells you to leave. Don't make a scene, just walk out. |

| I'm surprised they even check Id's in chicago.... where I used to live I would get in with my friends ID and he didnt even look like me... I actually got caught once and my friend sweet talked the guy to letting me stay.. He told me if he caught me drinking he would kick me out.. so I drank in the bathroom... underage drinking.. those were the days...:p |

I'm surprised that the security at the clubs in Chicago are so lax - in other cities you almost get stripped search these days.
You could get caught in the club if there are undercover cops and if they find out that the club is serving underage drinkers - no liquor license leads to no club. Stupid ass IMO. |

I agree with ctprincess, and you know what? It's damn nice. don't change a thing :) Part of the reason I like vision is myself (and the inevitable amount of cash I spend) are not treated like a criminal...
as for fake id's... tymeblind has a point.
if they dont' hear about it, and we don't talk about it, then whose to say it ever happened :p |
