| I can't stand it. Imagine this. NYE 2003, John Johnson is spinning a powerful, driving trance set. An MC desides to go at it over his set. I have heard MCs over DnB and Breaks, but never of 4x4 trance. It totally did not fit and I could tell Johnson was like WTF??? There is a time and place for it, but I don't think it goes with trance at all. |

i dont mind it in dnb sets where the mc doesnt take over the entire set, where the music is louder than he is.
but then again mcs r generally mouthy s. |

| I truly hate MC's. They can be perfect for Hiphop, but as it happens you won't see me at a hiphop gig....so wtf is a MC doing up on a stage during a techno/trance/hardstyle set???? |

normally i hear MCs in D&b/Jungle tracks. Those are expert/professional MCs where they rap very fast and it really suits the sound coming from the bass of the track. Hardcore/Gabber MCs normally shout trash in the mike (mostly at the start) but its ok as the music is faster and louder then they are. So when the MC follows the music, he better face the BPM of it... :D
obviously when i hear a MC (normally in trance and hardstyle)shouting out to the crowd instead of following to the rhythm... I say he can kiss his ass goodbye (Get the out the stage you bitch!!):whip: |

| MCs that spew the same lines that a thousand MCs before them wrecked piss me off. INSIYDE! BOO! OH MY GOHD! And when they randomly call for rewinds, and they don't stop calling for it until the DJ stops. Pushy mothera, learn to beatmatch and rewind your own tracks. |

They should explain to all MC's that just because Ebonics is now taught in some colleges, it is *NOT* a real language...is it just me, or does it seem like they all wanna be flava flav?

no need for that racist in here. people are actually complaining about the northern European stadium party MC with his butchered, corny and cheesy upswings in crude non-native English. That has nothing to do with what you're referring to.
and before some of us were talking about jungle MCs, who have a cultural history rooted deep down on Jamaican ragga slang, again having little to do with your conceptions of Ebonics. People in these countries do not even think about that.
 |
