How do I get an interview?

Hi there

This week I joined the Studentradio Club crew at my University, where we're broadcasting one hour of club music every tuesday evening. Everything from deep house to detroit techno. None of the earlier guys broadcasting here were into trance though, and as they are seeking to broaden their show with more EDM styles I was appreciated.

Now with the Spring cruise here in Sweden coming up in march where a bunch of great DJ's will be spinning (AvB, Markus Schulz, Tall Paul etc) I was thinking about trying to get an interview with some of the them on this cruise for our weekly show.

Does anybody have any experience of this? First of all, who should I contact? The DJ's manager, och the DJ himself? I hardly think I can get an interview with AvB, even though it'll only take a few minues, but it's always worh a shot. Everybody says Armin is a terrific guy, so why not? And if not, I'll just try to get an interview with any of the other jocks spinning.

Interviews..hehehehe....they are fun if you ask the right questions, not bull stuff. Markus Schulz had to be one of the better interviewees I've seen because he answers things in more detail than others. Greatest interviewee is Dave Clarke because he is usually brutal with his answers and you get what he is thinking, like his djmag "Techno is too white interview".
