I dedicate this thread in loving memory of Angry Aaron :p
Ok, let me first start off and say I'm just as guilty as the next guy for hijacking threads although i usually apologise and return to topic. So I guess my question is it unrealistic try to have a serious discussion in the chillout room? I come here to clown around and enjoy the surprising twists and turns a thread can take. But I know it can be annoying trying to have a serious discussion with hijackers around.

Baahhh, you know it wasn't YOU I was upset about. :p I wasn't even angry, just exasperated.
I don't think it's a problem posting jokes or making fun of people... it's just annoying when people intentionally try to draw attention away from the topic and onto themselves - or carry out a grudge.
I don't think it's impossible... the thread had a lot of good replies, for a while. People just need to learn some... tact? |

As for the topic at hand; yea, it is impossible to have a serious thread here. Well, maybe not impossible but pretty hard. Too many people nowadays, come here to just kill some time, and get some laughs out of it all. Those that hijack threads, just ignore them. You'll rarely see me post anything completely serious nowadays on here cause most of the topics that come up have all been done before and I've taken part in them. Now I just give my 2 bull cents in, and go on. |
