That's a good price. I had to pay like $31 for my ticket to see him at Opium Garden for 11/25/02. And I didn't actually get to 'see' Oakie becuz 1. I was way WAY too drunk. 2. Was too busy making out with a hot Asian chick. :haha: :haha:

Still, he threw down a decent set. No complaints. :)

Im sure there are a lot ok Oakenfold fans out there.. but personally.. you couldnt pay ME 20 bucks to go see him. Im seen him numerous times and everytime I have seen him it was nothing but train wreck after train wreck...

Honestly dude, the Oakey bashing is getting old... give it a rest.
I have REALLY seen him live several times back in 1999-2001 and it was nothing but smooth mixing and major tunes.

That being said, I will probably be sitting this one out since its a weeknight and I'll be seeing him 3 days later anyway.

ex-dj.. I agree with you completely... back in 1990's he was a good DJ... Im just saying that his recent mixes "that I've seen" havent been good at all. It just seems like a lot of that went to his head these past few years and he just hasnt cared as much when it comes to his sets.

I too think Oaky is a really good dj, but i think dj addicted is right, he's not what he used to be, back in the nineties, i'm sure all of you have an essential mix or two, he was very smooth and his track selection was superb. nowadays, ive seen him live a few times the last couple of years, he isnt on point like he used to,and yes he does trainwreck from time to time, and plus he seems to have a really big god complex. that being said, he still is one of my faves, but his time has passed, this in my opinion is tiesto and pvds time, they are the gods of trance.

p.s. oakys ultra set last year was tight.

Looks like Jeskot7 is taking a road trip! Thanks FrankNBeanz420

The show will deffinitly be 18 n up. I belive I heard the owner say tickets are going to be 15 and 20 dollars. So if that is the case it will be 15 for 21 nup 20 for under. Either way not a bad deal, and a great warm up for the conference!!!!
