Hey guys,
I'm getting pretty good on my MK5's and I think I'm ready
to start recording some sets...
What program/s do I need to get on my PC in order to record?
Thanks! |

1) Hook mixer up to computer.
2) Get recording software that can record from whatever input you're using (i.e. line-in, mic-in, spdif-in, optical-in, etc...)
3) Make sure your levels aren't clipping.
4) Make sure you have enough space to record.
5) Tell the software to record and start mixing. |

| try finding soundforge as a program or some soundcards come with a recorder such as creative aka. soundblaster. usually u'll just have to change ur windows record settings to "what you hear" or "line-in". u can use your mic port but that doens't sound as good. as for the cord from the mixer to ur comp, u'll need the rca's to a regular 1/8 speaker jack. u can get it from radio shack for 5 bucks. |
