i would say the minority do for me.. atleast on my list. I feel this sudden urge to delete people now who continuously change their name without leaving some kind of reference as to who they are in the prefix. :wtf:

I dunno, see im all for the long nicks and changing them frequently... its keeps things more fun ;)
ALthough, i find that all of the ppl that change their nicks on my list (>50 id say), they always seem to have a certain characteristic or some "quality" to them so that when i see all the names im pretty sure who each one is... and if not, a quick right click shows me their email, and then i know for sure!! .... maybe i just got used to peps changing up, and u begin to recogznie paterns in the types of nicks they gravitate towards, or common elements in how they spell them, etc....
thats my 2 cents. |

^^^^ i agree completely, i can always still tell who is who by their nicknames, even if they JUST switched it
you just grow to recoqnize everyones patterns with their nicks |

unfortunately i can't tell since i've renamed everyone to their real or TA username with MSN Plus ..
it's really annoying when i sign onto a school computer since all of the names revert back and i have no idea who's who.. and then that's where ICQ comes in :D

Aight man, i can see where ur coming from
i have msn plus too and am aware of that feature, but i was just thinking about it, and half the fun for me neways, is to see whut ppl have for their names each day, bc they alot of the time reflect their moods... just one more way (for me) to make the net a little more "personable" and less cold ;)
but i can respect how id drive u nuts... me, it adds a litta flava to my day :) |
