Matt Darey returns to the Broadcast! 2004 has seen the launch of Matt's new label "Mash Up Tunes" as well as working on several new
racks to be released in 2004. Matt returns to the Broadcast with his latest set filled with new remixes and productions just for The Global DJ Broadcast audience. Be sure to take a glance at www.mattdarey.com for more info and up to date news!
Sonorous makes his debut on the Broadcast! Rough Mullar aka Sonorous seems to be the forthcoming man of innovative trance and house style. Back in the middle of the 90's he started his musical career in punk and rock bands as a trained guitar player. Later on he became more interested in electronic dance music and began to spin records. It was during this time he met Ralph Kyau, a trance music producer for years and a pioneer in the east German techno scene. They formed a partnership and began collaborating on music. Together with Ronski Speed, a good friend and dj, Rough Mullar started to build up an own studio. In 1997 Ralph Kyau and Steven Moebius Albert founded their label euphonic and were looking for fresh innovative stuff and new producers. Rough was signed by euphonic and started making music as Sonorous. The first single "Free Love" became a success in Germany and Switzerland. In 1999 Sonorous' "Did You Ever Dream?" e.p. was released. In 2000 Sonorous rediscovered an amazing yet forgotten tune and created a new more danceable version of "Glass Garden" and it soon became a favorite tune of Paul Van Dyk. In October 2000 the British label Colourbox released the track in the
UK. "Glass Garden" and was played by djs like Pete Tong, Boy George, Judge Jules, Graham Gold and Dave Pearce. The latest sonorous single
"Protonic" was released in January 2003 with the single "Second Sun"
getting a UK release on Lost Language. You can find more info at www.euphonic.de.

i second that...his last shows on GDJB have been horrible...he should concentrate on producing...and find a title that doesn't envolve the word angel...

co-sign..... I remember his last set, everyone was hyping it up sooo bad & then when I tuned in I fell asleep. Hey, anyways, M.I.K.E is next week !!!!!:eyespop: :crazy: |

Much agreed. His last set on GDJB was crap-tacular; same for his Transcend set. It was full of dull cheese. I sort of expected more from him, seeing as how he's been around in the scene so long. I would've though his DJ style to have more of a cosmopolitan sound.
If I tune in, it will probably be only for Markus. |
