The 20th anniversary of House Music Tour begins in April 2004 with the legendary House Music Pioneers Jesse Saunders and Chip E. The tour is sponsored by Numark, with support from Pioneer' DVX-1, and Technics' Digital 1200's. This show is 100% pure, real and uncut HOUSE MUSIC, and includes never before seen DVD mixing and scratching, and a screening of the all new documentary "The Unusual Suspects," produced by Chip E. and Jesse. All of this is guaranteed to spark major new interest in House Music, and continue the musical education of our favorite music to dance to...HOUSE MUSIC!
The show is self contained with cameras, projectors, video screens, 1200 Digital Turntables (not available anywhere), DVX-1's (Digital DVD players), and mixers. In addition, there will be give aways and a chance to win prizes and more!

The "Originator" of House Music (Chicago)
He's put together a special DJ show for this tour that will blow you away! Jesse Saunders wrote, produced, performed and released the very first ever HOUSE RECORD, "ON & ON" in 1984 on his label Jes Say Records (Chicago). It hasn't been available in over 18 years. Those lucky enough to find a copy of it are paying in excess of $500 on Ebay and in hard to find record shops. Jesse had the first House record ever to be played on the radio and go #1 - "Funk U Up." He also had the 1st House record to go #1 on "Top of the Pops" in the United Kingdom, and become a GOLD record - "Love Can't Turn Around." Jesse is currently riding high on the Billboard Hot 100 sales chart with his remix of the smash single "F*** It" by Eamon (Jive Records).
Jesse has been featured in numerous award winning documentaries including "Modulations and "Pump Up The Volume." He's also been featured in many books including "What Kind Of House Party Is This?" and written his own "House Music...The Real Story."

The Producer of House Music (Chicago)
Chip has produced and mixed, "The Unusual Suspects," documentary that tells the REAL STORY behind how House Music came to be! Chip was not far behind Jesse when it came to the foundation of House Music. Chip is credited with introducing the world to the term and meaning of the word "Jack." His classic House song, "Time 2 Jack" was the first song to ever use the word "Jack," and in a 1985 interview with Spin magazine, Chip explained that "Jacking is doing standing up on the dance-floor, what you'd rather be doing at home laying down."Also in 1984 and into 1985, Chip wrote, produced, performed and mixed his records "It's House," "Like This" and "Godfather (of House Music)," which released on the world renowned DJ International Records. These records are classics the world over.
THE TOUR
2004 is the official 20th anniversary, and marks the release of the world's first House record. In 2003, Jesse Saunders released a collector's edition of original version of ON & ON, as well as a double pack with some remixes from Stonebridge, Tony B!, AK 47, Josh The Funky 1, Deepless and Jesse Saunders himself. Sales were phenomenal and this is indicative of the interest House Music has generated and continues to maintain around the world!
