very nice remix. I like the intro a lot; nice bassline, and that 1st synth is great. i like the break a lot too; the main lead is really uplifting, very good, and the melody's nice. Maybe you can make the strings a bit louder yeah, i think it would sound even greater. Amazing sound quality you have there.

Especially I liked the sequence of main leads. But sometimes the strings are too loud (from 5:50 to 6:40) that's just my impression :)

Thanks for the further comments people, they always help in one way or another.
The clap is indeed a bit different and less apparent then a 'regular' one, as well as the implementation of the lead in this sort of thing. I could have given it an A&B twist and make such a lead, but decided to stay 'Icone' on this one. Of course I could give this explanation for everything I did, it's just my interpretation :)

I really like this, can't decide why tho, less energy than the force 10 mix but more than the original, fits nicely inbetween I guess, I still like it loads tho
I also like the reverb on the piano tho it's a nice sounding part.

No seriously, it's very well put together and I like it.
The only thing perhaps is that the clap is a little too far in the background for my liking but hey in the big scheme of things... wow!

Uhm... that high flute-like backing synth gets on my nerves after a while. The rain sample is a bit of a cliché to be honest... and the pad also tends to overpower everything at times.
Other than that, I can't really fault this. A solid production. |
