Alphas have quite possibly the ugliest front end i've ever seen on a car since the Edsel. I dont think those are stock wheels either or height on it as they look like graphite O.Z Superleggera wheels.
The audi is nice n clean, sorta like a cleaned up VW GTI
They are def less than a 3 series bmw because the A4 which is a step above the A3 is even priced at or below the 3 series price, and I mean normal 3 series (325, 330) not the M3.
Practically speaking I wouldnt buy it just because of the 2 door thing. I've never been a fan of 2 door cars (they look great but I need 4 doors). |

| why do you need 4 doors? |

Well, it depends on the country really.
Here the lowest series 3 costs the same as the Sport versions of these cars, because we have the 320d (2 litre diesel engine).
Mercedes Benz SLK 2004

AMG Version (360 hp)

AMG instruments

The M3 surely is a badass, but between him and THIS, i don't know what to choose - well, probably the AMG version :) |

I store stuff in the backseat a lot so its easy to access, trunk usually has other stuff in it like stereo equipment. Plus 4 doors is just easier and better when you have ppl in your car. Nothing is worse than having to move your seat up to let the guy in the back in or out. If I was gonna get a two door car itd be one without any backseat at all because I find it pointless.
Maybe a mazda RX8 might be a two door compromise since its got that little folding rear door but its only accessible when you open the front door.
Oh and yes the new Audi S4 owns :) If I only had $60Gs laying around. |

if you want a 4 door, get a civic!...... 2 door cars are sporty, not family wagons dude

| Well yes the Audi A is pricey but for reason. It is a nice performing as well as safe and reasonable car. My friend has a 2001 manual A4 1.8t while my uncle just bought and recently recieved after ordering a 2004 BMW E46 M3. Both very nice and sporty fun cars |

Thats what i said. The guy asked what ppl think of it and thats what I think of it, too small. Theres a lot of 2 door cars that are grocery getters out there.
As for 4 door not being sporty? Lets see off top of the head I can think of Audi S4, A8, mercedes 320, 260 kompressor, bmw 330, acura TL, TSX, mazda 6, all that are sporty.
The audi a4 is pretty niceand the 1.8 can be tweaked quite a bit. Too bad audi doesnt have options like that when you buy the car so it doesnt void the warranty. There are kits out there adding stage 3 turbos for about $4000 that bring the HP up to nearly 270HP. Add chips, exhaust, etc and maybe even more for a reasonable amount of money. |
