Hi TA peeps!!
Im in need of a little help in trying to replicate a certain sound, i'm looking for the kind of sound used in these trax:
Clokx - Overdrive
flat 6 - its too late - andrea doria rmx
green atlas - circulation
For those that dont know im sorry i cant supply any audio clips. But basically it is a flowing mono style lead with a crunchy digital distortion to it.
Ive got my hands on these synths: vaz modular, 2001, albino amd fm7
The problem is that these synths are very good, but they seem to have a very warm / fuzzy analogue style distortion that does give a good fat sound. But im looking to find a more harsh digital crunch to the sound. The bitrate qbase thingy is good, but the sounds have more movement to the distortion.
At the moment im at a loss to recreate the style. Has anyone tried doing this???
Thanks Fjunky |
