Seemed to be an excellent performance this time. MP came on at 3 am, and played til 7 am. Floor was packed until 5 am.
I didn't hear any trainwrecks.
Vic, David (colibri), and Indy were also there.
You all should check out and watch Christian Smith some time. He was on before Picotto, and showed a lot of creativity in using every knob and fader on the mixer. He sure does go through a lot of records really quickly.
In the area above the DJ booth, people (presumably couples) did lap-dances. Very distracting when I was on the 2nd floor balcony trying to watch Picotto do his thing. :p
It's interesting how on Friday, the guestlists were inside the building, but on Saturday, they were handled outside. Also, on Saturday the bouncers came up and did ID checks and gave wristbands while ppl were waiting in line. And unlike Friday, there was no "guys without girls have to wait."
The price on this night was $30, so I got a good deal with the weekender pass, which costed $29 (after service charge added), and was good for both Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, I caught only an hour and a half of Judge Jules' set. No complaints here, about what I heard. The crowd seemed to enjoy it. Eddie Bang came on afterwards, at 4 am. Too bad I had to leave soon after and wasn't able to stay for much of that. |

i stayed til only about 4.15 cuz i was gonna meet some people elsewhere  i don't think i could handle too much of mauro's style of banging beats but it was decent, first time i've ever seen him. christian smith... well he rocked i thought. it took me a while to get used to the music tonight, but i guess i was satisfied.
hey wallflower which side were u standing on? i was standing on balcony on mauro's left. |

| omg---i was so happy mauro was on game I wanted to hear alil bit of both smith and picotto so i got there at 1am.it was my first time at the old church i was mildly impressed a lil hard to get around and Too small... my friends and i could'nt find ne room to dance until we went under the booth. the crowd was MUCH better there. All over great sets, reminded me of picotto's first gig w/ smith opening at arc. Great to see Vic there as well, sorry i dont know too many of u Tas. in the end i was in Bliss w/ Picotto's style-hes the man that got me into edm one summer in italy. |

“there are only two types of music, either good
or bad” as the artist states on his site; well,
this occasion was fortunate to be the former…
inside the booth did shake hands with the
infamous picotto and met fun people throughout
the night
around 2:45 mauro went on “really” inspired as
he was having a glass of either champagne or wine
at the rate of one every 30 minutes, making funny
faces and interacting with the crowds as a well-
crafted and delivered performance was on the
making delightfully entertaining everyone’s ears
quite frankly 90% of the set was magnificent so
there was no need to go and party elsewhere
the ambiance was almost excellent!
i love electronic music…
c!eers ;)
ps | on fr jules was kind of boring in comparison but
surprised me with a nu-nrg tune late into the night |
