nice work!
intro is great, vocals are amazing !! just the lead is too simple imo.
i think most people will love it, but i just thought after that awesome vocal break the lead would smash my brain away... if u know what i mean :D
apart from that lead... GREAT work, keep it up ! |

You have skills.
Not liking the clap sound though... sounds too metalic for my taste.
Vocal content is naff in my opinion and sounds contrived. Vocalist does have a good and interesting voice though. Just let the poor lady sing something better.
Blincc makes a good point about that lead too, after the breakdown it just resumes which is not what you want.
I hated this song from start to finish and feel that you are not using your skills (Or your vocalists) to their full potential. This is too DJ Sammy for me.
On the upside (and I do apologise for that rather harsh downside) it's obvious that you have really good skills in terms of producing. The overall sound is quite proffesional and is a credit to you. Damona's voice has great potential too.
I guess my frustration is that I just feel that you guys didn't stretch yourselves enough on this one. Stick with this lady as I think it's a combination that will work for you.
She can sing, you can write :).
I really want to hear what you come up with next.
All the best

Cool to hear some original vocals here. I like it a lot. I can understand Nemesis' comments, these have a lot to do with personal taste I think, but I agree for the greatest part of it.
You should go on working together though, I hope to find more productions here soon. I hope you can get more out of your cooperation.
But this one is great too! I can imagine there's a lot of peeps out there who like this. Good work. |

It's great to have some differents points of view on it.:)
This was in fact just a test track for us. I agree for the main lead,it was suppose to be just an arrangement...but the inspiration for the main lead never came.;) For the clap,it's in fact a "noise" snare from the korg triton drum kit. |

i reall think you have signing potential. It has top notch production. I think that dj sammy comment earlier was a tad out of place. Whilst the sentiment of the song is a bit dj sammy/sash!, the overall effect is certainly not.
You use too many layers of sound to be compared to something as basic as dj sammy.
The vocalist has an interesting voice. I think a fairly commercial label would jump at the chance to hear more work from you, upload this mp3 to dave pearce's website.
This is exactly the kind of stuff he plays and he has a huge fanbase in the commercial dance sector.
maybe u can upload it at http://www.nuliferecordings.com/index.php

It is actually the sentiment with the lyric that is the issue for me more than anything. I don't actually have a problem with the production skills as I clearly state in my post even if the song is not to my liking.
I hope I didn't offend you Andre, looking back I wasn't very nice. If I did then I apologise.
I actually get quite fussy when it comes to lyrics as I used to write lyrics and such like for rock music a long time back. Usually if something sounds like it's trying to be more meaningful than it is then I will react. 'Sandcastles in the sky' is a good example. This does sell by the bucket loads so though so I guess there must be something in it. ;)
All the best

| The production on this is beauty - very very pro indeedy! It's got a very haunting sound and the vocals are top notch production wise. Definitely could see this on a major commercial trance label - keep sending it out man! |
