Should've asked you guys first. Ordered a pair of Jensen JP1500 500W speakers on sale @ $99.00 each to replace a pair of 18 year old AAL 350W in the living room in which I've had to repair cones, etc with epoxy. They've got 15" woofers. Good deal or not? Hope to keep the deep thumping bass I like with my trance. Hate to buy stuff like this without listening to them first.

Where did you order it from? Sounds like a deal to me, I'm just curious what the specs are and the overall look of the speakers.

Reviewed the Bowers & Wilkins link. Incredible reviews by manufacturer and unlike any I've ever seen in my life. Contains no useful performance information in their "full specifications pages" on range and power their speakers will produce in wattage at all. Why would anyone want to buy crap like without bottom line facts?

BTW, cheapest price I found was $400 US for your 602s3 bookshelf speakers!

Sorry, I'd give you link to site where I bought them, but link now says "out of stock", so I guess I got the last ones! They were in stock when I ordered. Specs here

Just look at the .pdf manual. That has all the specs you need. Im reading about the speakers my rents own

50 to 1000W RMS and the fact it can dip down to 23hz w/o a sep. powered sub. Also I now see that they weigh more than I thought!! Each is 104 Kg... nuck futs.

(they are the Nautilus 801's)

You can't go wrong with B&W's.

I have the older 602s2, and they are quality stuff! I use them to practice on my decks. :)

Wow, Nautilus 800s are crazy stuff - both performance and price!

Received them today. Dang, that was quick. Married up with my other pair of Sansui 400W, sound was awesome. Awesome meaning I can feel it in my bones. I did notice that at max power the speakers weren't even pushed at 100W per channel. Hmm... will have to get another amp to boost it 200W per. My philosophy is if you start getting old and can't hear as good as you used to (like me), then it's time to buy bigger speakers and a more powerful amp! Trance never sounded so good!!!

Lol!
