Recording Programs ?

I wanted to know if their are any programs I can download to record music. Example if I'm listening to music from the internet or from a site. Can I get a recording program to record ? Anyone know of any, that are free or something ?

| go to www.download.com and type in stream ripper.. you should find what you're looking for.. |

use whatever program you would use to record from your mike, only do this:
1. right click on the speaker icon in the system tray --> Open Volume Control
2. Options --> Properties
3. Adjust volume for recording --> hit OK.
4. Check "Stereo Mix" instead of "Microphone" You may have to keep the slider on Stereo Mix pretty low though. |

| if your streaming from winamp there is a plugin u can get to record from it. |
