Hey UKTA's

I was wondering if any of you UKTAs are/were undergraduates at the London School of Economics. I live in New York, and have applied for the year abroad program @ LSE. I should be finding out very soon if I was accepted or not. What I wanted to find out about was the level of intensity of the work @ LSE. Honestly I'm not going to move all the way to London for a year to sit in a library and study. I plan to go out 2-3 nights a week. Not during exam periods of course. Is that feasible? Also is LSE situated near London trance hot spots? Any info that you guys could offer would be much appreciated.

Signing off from this side of the pond,

LSE is hard .. 1 of my best friends goes there .. still tho he manages to find time to do other stuff besides study .. depends on how motivated you are to do your work .. ie in plenty of time and well researched or last minute day before job ;)

Turnmills' line up for February seems particularly impressive (AVB, Corsten, Warren, Zabiella, etc.). Is that the norm in the UK?!? I wish I were there now LOL. Anyway thanks for the info. It looks like if I want to make the most of this year abroad I'm going to have to study really hard during the week, so I can party hard during the weekends. :whip:

Ehhh it's pretty much the same drill here. Ok well I just got final approval from the study abroad department. All that remains is paper work.
