I have never seen George Acosta live. After last night, I dont think I ever will. I am sure I know what he looks like and he wasnt there. However the other djs were actually really good. Big ups to them for a great job filling in. Acosta has been a no show a couple times before so I wonder if it was Sphere's fault or his. Either way, The owner got on stage at the end of the show and made no mention of what happened or no apologies. So, I don't think I will go back to Sphere nor will I attend a George Acosta show. If I am mistaken, I sincerly apologize for making these comments, but I don't think I am.

It wasn't Sphere's fault, and we don't think it was Acosta's fault.. more like the guy from Miami trying to throw this event seemed to more or less lie about booking Acosta. I was just posting this for some friends, and well.. now we all know the one guy is full of .
jpgrdnr
oh wow. So it was some crazy scam? Like a false billing?
jpgrdnr
no mention of the date on his site.
TDL
wow, that is really unfortunate. Not much anyone can do about that. But what still gets me is that the owner got on stage at the end of the night and acted like nothing happened. Not that Eddie G wasnt any good but most of those people came to see Acosta. After all he was the headliner. I for one did. 1st they tried to get us for 20 dollars at the door instead of 15 like the flyer said. Then no apology or anything. I understand that those things happen I just think the club owner handled it really badly. Kind of shady and greedy. This will conclude my rant. The music was good either way and this is not a personal attack on you bucky(but if you know people at the club you should tell them how a lot of people felt about that). If that is what happened then I understand the fact that he wasnt there.
bucky
The owner of the club had NOTHING to do with the event.

It was all the doing of a crappy promoter named "jay" from miami who tried to pull a fast one on people. if he ever tries to throw anything else in buffalo people will be warned about him.

TDL
I understand what your saying.. man that does suck cuz that sure looks stuff looks bad for business. do you know that guy's web address and email address?
bucky
here ya go...
