i wouldn't call your set boring...
if you drop good tracks it'll still be awesome...
tricks you can do... are...
change the EQ's during climax's... ie. the MID knob
if you have kill switches their good to kill bass at times
you can also use the volume slider to continously make it high, low, high low to gain some sort of effect
not alot of trance dj's do this, but scratching is also an idea.
i seldomly use it but when used at the right place it sounds good...
another thing is slowing down at the end of your set..
thats all i can think of right now..
had a few beers last night

Well here are some tricks...
In a beat part, do a back-spin... it takes a bit practice, but it's kewl when done right :)
here ya go:
- grab the record at the farthest point away from you and whip it backwards
- stop the plate after 2 beats backwards, and immediatly turn on the other track
don't do it too long (backspinning) it's annoying!
another effect is turning the sound away sometimes...
this is very cool, especially in a break-beat moment :toothless
as sKyBreAK said: play with the beats...
do it like this:
normal track:
beat-beat-beat-beat
your version:
beat-nothing-beat-nothing
or make a kewl breakbeat of it :) |

hi i like this one:
record 2 bass cut,
12345678
12345678
12345678
1234 - at '5' you grab record 1 and at '6' you do a fast backspin, at the next '1' you throw in record 2's bass
make sure you dont hear the backspin any more at the next '1' |

| Or you could just buy new records, after awhile songs do tend to get "boring":stongue: |
