This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and consider each line. Thoughtfulness is important for this evaluation to be meaningful! Ready?
Begin.
You're in Florida. In Miami, to be exact... There is chaos around you, caused by a hurricane and severe floods. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper caught in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. You are witnessing Nature in all its destructive fury. You see a man in the water; he is fighting for his life, trying not to be swept away amidst the rolling water and debris. You try to get closer. Somehow the man looks familiar. Suddenly, you realize who it is...
It's George W. Bush!
At the same time you realize that the raging waters are about to take him under, forever. You have two options. You can put down your camera and try to rescue him or you can take the most dramatic photos of your career. So, you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot aPulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of the world's most powerful man. Now, here's the question (and please... give an honest answer):
Would you select color film, or go with the classic simplicity of black and white? |

i choose black and white.. believe it or not, i feel like B/W photos have more expression than colour... only because some features are left for your brain to imagine... it gives it character and the effect it gives is quiet different from one person to another.
it adds to the "drama" so to speak beacuse only ur brain is left to fill in the lacking details.
u wanted a serious answer, well here it was. |

under the given circumstances, u have to choose either one or the other FOREVER.
u can't switch.. otherwise i would have picked colour for sure. |

I wish this wasnt an analogy and it was going to happen.
Edit: Now that i think about it, maybe i should do a documentary on his slow and painful death. Im sure it would be on everyones favourites list. |

| useless post but if you can get a close-up then go with blank n white bcuz it captures the subject better by cutting out unnecessary colors. |
