i was gonna record a mix with some of my old time fad trax, while i was in the mix i pulled a one of those fab trax and was shocked to discover deep side to side wide scratches on the surface of the record. needles to say, i turned my decks off and scanned all of the records in the crate i pulled the mutilated record from. there were two more records scratch beyond repair.
upon investigating it seems my little niece's friends took a blunt point pen or some kind of sharp object and used 3 of my records as note pads:mad: damn i am pissed
that's really too bad too cuz those records are out of print and unrepairable.:( |

| they are only 5 and 6 years old, if they were older like 9 and up i'd be really upset at them but i don't think they realize the harm done, there is no point in looking for guilty parties or seek repay at this point. the cost of the records isn't an issue to me, the problem is the records are irreplaceable (like i sais earlier the records have been long out of print), so i just have to bite the bullet. |
