hello, i live in melbourne and currently producing trancey/proggy tracks and sooner or later i want to send some demos to some labels, i have read the other forum on how to get your tracks heard, the only problem is that i dont know any labels email addresses/websites and how to contact, and since i live in melbourne (australia) does that make a difference? thanks for reading, any replies will b welcome!

First off the Australian forum would be better help i think

also why does it have to sent to Australian labels?? send them to international ones like Armada and so on.

thanks for the reply, yeah thats cool i just sorta thought that since i live here it would b easier to send to aussie labels, but ur point is taken, and ill send to labels that fit the description of music i make. sorry bout the forum thing, wont happen again!

No problem, actually you didn't post in the wrong forum, i just thought maybe if you needed info on Aussie labels then the Australian forum would suit the question more.

But yeh, there is a forum i think of some of the record labels, start sending labels to them cause IMO Aussie labels quite frankly suck.

You could always send it to Nick Skitz. :stongue:

TBH, I haven't heard of any decent Aussie trance labels, every one i've come accross has been a cheese fest.

thanks for the help, gets me cut aus has e trance labels, but say u send a nice demo/tracks to a label and they say they like it, but it needs a little sprucing up to do, would they still sign ya? or does the demo gotta b perfect when u send? any help from the tranceaddicts already signed would b cool, cos u know what ur doing, thanks
