| Hey guys How was Kimball Collins? Damn I didnt get to go I got into something I had to take care of :(. I just came back home :D and I want to know how the night was? Hope you guys had a grate time for me :p well just fill me in the Info peeps later :D :D :D :D :D |

I for one had a blast at this event! The only thing that sucked was that I only got to see him play for an hour and a half. We didn't leave Buffalo until 12:30, and got there at 2. He ended at 3:30...oh well...the time that I did see him it was well worth all the effort. Some amazing trance tunes that kept my spine tingled the whole time! :)
Mark Oliver...ick....the man needed to go back to wherever he was, and let Kimball play more...that is all I have to say about that.

Mark sucked? did he suck because he wasnt playing trance? was he playing more darker/deeper progressive choones? i looove Mark Oliver, i always have fun when i go to GUV, lol i get mad when he goes trancey lol, i wish hed play deeper/dirtier and cut out SOME of the trance he plays from his sets! thats just me tho...?
what kinda music did Kimball Collins play?
i am not too familiar with his style?
I decided to skip Guv (my usual hangout) and check out Scaife at Element Bar... |

i used to like him and , but now he's just gone way too, ummm, progressive and housey... like wtf?! i remember him 2 years ago, he was spinnin crazy pure uplifting trance the crowd would go wild to... now he plays for in K and E heads... he needs to check himself before he in wrecks himself... |

Nothing really special, aside from the amazing lights and laser show that went on. I with that I could have that laser thing here at my house!
Mark Oliver was just playing such a bizare combination of music that it was just downright annoying. He did play some tunes like 643, and Acadia; into the dawn; James Holden remix. But it was his programming that destroyed any type of hype his set had going for it.
Kimball played sweet, uplifting trance, along with....I dunno what to call it...progressive "dance" music. It was a perfect set for the guvernment...I'll just leave it at that.

I personally had an amazing nite, met some cool people in the Acid Lounge.....When Kimball came on, it was heaven!!! :D
Very uplifting trance, had me on the dancefloor the whole time! :)...
Mark Oliver is alright, he's not that bad.....
alot of ginos there thats for sure, but i ignored them and did what i enjoy doing!! :) |

| Collins set was nice... i thought Olvier could've done a little bit better then he played that night. It was a fun night minus the in heat in that place... holy , just walk from one side to the other and your sweatin your ass off just from the heat... i was out on the patio alot and if you looked up you good see the steam comming up the club. Other then that it was cool i guess. |

anyway.........I had a so so time, because of the bad drugs....but when I stopped rushing, it was amazing....
Mark Oliver isn't that bad...........he just seems to play the same over and over every week because I think he thinks nobody has heard it before....but he's not that bad......last night
he was doing some odd genre mixing......but it was alright |

I had a blast at Kimball!!!! I was really excited because it was my friend's first time at the guvernment and I knew that just the lights alone would amaze them!!! So we drove for 4 hours to get to guvernment, partied our asses of for another 10 hours and then turned around and drove home for 5 hours! ahhh!!! It was so kewl!!!!!!
Only downfall of the night was that it was way too hot inside, so unfortunately we were on the patio the majority of the night. We met some super cool people though....aviston and I were hoping to meet some other TA's but oh-well, maybe next time!! |

| Yes, the Vixen is quite correct; it was a blast. All I can say is at least we were in the club for more time than we were in the car. It was the first time I've been to Guvernment and the sound/lighting was quite incredible. The crowd was really diverse, which usually is cool, but it sort of tore up the vibe for me. I met too many people there who didn't even know who Kimball Collins was, much less that he was the one spinning. We did spend alot of the night out on the patio since the heat was a bit overwhelming. All in all, I thought Collins spun a great set, and I really enjoyed myself in Toronto once again. |

Yeah, alot of people in the Guvernment I feel are not there for the music, despite the fact that you could meet alot of cool people there as well....
My friend's and I took Yellow TP's, we had an amazing nite, nobody was puking or anything, i dont know what was up with yours!!!, and I met 4 others on the same stuff and they were having a blast.....so you either had a bad reaction or you got some bad !!! |
