Raves
The Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003 amends the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 - section 63 - reducing the numbers gathered in the open air for a rave (as tresspassers or not) from 100 to 20 and additionally covers gatherings of 20 or more who are trespassing on land which is not in the open air (ie within a building).

Powers are unchanged with the addition of a further offence of making preparations for or attending a gathering subject to a direction within 24 hours of the direction.

Ste
raving has been pretty much illegal since that law was introduced, thats why peopel dont use the word rave anymore because when you go to a club it is legal and not a rave.

It is, however, legal to get a load of people in ur back graden and have a rave. The rozzers need a warrant to enter your house i believe, and i think the garden is included in that, spesh if u build big walls around it.

Ravin' at home :tongue3

thats crap!!!

I'll tell you what, lets go to a e club where we have to wear shoes and shirt, drink loads of booze, listen to e music, then go outside at 2:30AM, and have a fight with some random person who we thought was looking at the same bird as us because we are still pissed because the ing club shut too early.
Thats ok though, because the gov't make loads of money from the tax on sales of booze

yeah, cos this^^^^ is classified as a "house party" and all the police can do is ask you to turn the noise down ;) as its your private property.

There was some Essex outfit that basically ran "Raves" as such, by basically breaking into abandoned warehouses, and running big events in them pseudoillegaly. What they did was break into the warehouse and claim it as their home with "squatters rights", and thus, the rave was legally regarded as a house party. there was an article in it in a n old mixmag
