| honestly.... i think 1.5 and 1.6 were both pretty decent. its always been easy for me to kill mad people.. hehe. personally for me though, 1.6 runs much faster on my computer than 1.5 did. it loads up a game in under 6 seconds. my fps is very constant and everything. and as people mentioned b4, only thing i hate is shield. hehe |

1.6 nice version, steam is really doing it's . i mean the new money system would not have released till a new cs and that could take up to a year, now one simple update > new settings..
i like the new weapons, shield is tho, had it banned from my clan servers.

| i really cannot see why everyone hates the sheild so much, if anyone wants to complain about anything, it should be about the ty auto-sniper. and yes that gun is actually cheesy. |

at least the autosniper isnt buggy and totally broken... |

| I play counter strike quite often, 1.5 and 1.6. But at the moment i am suffering from a broken wrist (snowboarding:tongue2) and i don't play so well now. But I used to be quite a good player... |

i've been playing since beta 7..
my fav. version of all-time was 1.3, then 1.5. but 1.6 isnt too bad. I like the upgraded auto-sniper and elites. |

| I never use auto snipers or elites, just AK and Colt for me :D Sometimes i use the AWM or the scout, but i'm not much of a sniper so most of the times that's just a waste of my hard-earned cash :stongue: |

its about as broken as you can get, you die in TWO shots no matter where it hits ,and there is little recoil so u can just keep ur trigger pressed. at least with awp, ur buggered if u miss. cheesy kills if u ask me. |

| It's all copyright issues i think. But there are patches around which bring back the original names.. but who the hell cares? I dont even look at the VGUI menu anymore.. |
