I think some people have never seen another forum before... you don't realize that crap like "OMGHi2U", "pics or stfu", "pwned", "+1", etc. are not even remotely original or unique to TA. They're just fads that caught on here and took far longer to die than they should have.
"Don't send the letter", though, I would buy for sure. ;) Other than that, I actually think whiskers had the best ideas. |

that's what i'm talking about. "don't send the letter" is the only original and widely accepted idea (the george foreman vibrating grill is too, but it's not as famous)
we should really have a competition where people put up their designs - general or maybe unfinished - and people vote for whatever ideas they like. |

This is the best idea so far I think. Perhaps you could get one with the users who are still actively posting on the site, coz 30,000 usernames on one shirt is a hell of a lot!!
Or perhaps a personal t-shirt with your nick on the front and custom status on the back. That would be wicked.

well, the thing about a personal shirt is that it's too geeky. plus i change my custom status randomly every week or so. and would you really wear a shirt that said "angrily running naked" on the back? :D
i think we should have the more "famous" and old school posters with lots of posts on like the front at the top and people who don't have that many posts go on the sleeves. but it has to be fair to others too. but i do like the idea of this.
/wants to get a good spot on a shirt :toothless |

Hehe, I guess it would be pretty geeky, but I'd still love to wear an Angrily Running Naked t-shirt. Perhaps I should get one printed myself :p
Having all of the users on a t-shirt would be the best idea though.

EDIT: Having said all that, my housemate's made at least two of his own t-shirts just with a plain shirt and fabric pen. He wore them to a club and everyone loved them, so maybe they're not so geeky. And this club had a fair few scallies in it ready to take the piss out of anything and everything, and still everyone seemed to love it!! |
