A lot can happen in 12 months…….
For Jon O’Bir, 2002 started off with him mixing in his bedroom like thousands of others dreaming of the bit time, but as the hours counted down to 2003 his dream had come true and he was warming up the Godskitchen crowd for Fergie. It started back in September 2002 when he won an amateur DJ competition and beat out 300 others for a chance to play live at a big club and have his talents broadcast through on radio.

Soon thereafter Fergie invited him to play on his BBC Radio 1 radio show, his short half hour set garnished a ton of support via emails and on message boards worldwide. In the short time since he has established a following and is becoming well known for playing trance productions by unsigned producers, as well as producing a few gems of his own. His first production, Jon O’Bir vs Mitosis- Airflow, is due for release next month.
2003 saw Jon take his profile to the next level, with guest slots at Passion, the Gallery, Slinky and Inside Out to name just a few. On top of that, Jon played a peak time set to over 8,000 adoring fans at the NEC as well as wowing crowds on the Radio 1 stage at Homelands, in Ibiza, Greece, the Zurich Love Parade and headlined a 3,000 capacity event for Godskitchen in Hollywood.
Now, having just turned 20, Jon can be found at all the UK’s leading events & club nights over the coming months ... straight into the summer and the Ibiza party season.
The phenomenon that is Jon O’Bir has only just begun, come witness a rising star in the making!
