The ones that REALLY sound the same are the same and are mislabled. I happen to know that there are a lot of mp3s of the Lil Haydn track that claim to be the dub but really are not.

It all goes to the different mix names. The dub will have no vocals compared to the E-string mix which has them. Otherwise they are pretty much the same. And yes, I too have run across a few mis-labled in sets and mp3's.

If you ask me G&D are one of the few producers that don't just leave out the vocals for a dub, but reproduce the entire track. Different bassline, different build-up, etc.
The lili haydn dub and remix are not pretty much the same imo...

The only difference I hear is the lack of vocals. I may be wrong, but in the end who really cares if I am or not :D.

New Order - someone like you.....

gabriel & dresden 911 vocal mix > 4/4 beat version of the original.

gabriel & dresden voco-tech dub > standard g&d beat with just samples of the intro-guitar and sometimes you can hear "someone" going in the background.
