Nice to have a debate that doesn't descend into a slanging match! ;)
I dislike Arsenal alot, but they do have the best team the league, and THE best player (probably in the world) in Henry. I hope he breaks his leg(s)! ;) |
Well they lost 3-2 today against Boro. Had a couple of chances they should have scored again. Boro are a team that just can not hardly score, it is extremely worrying that they can score 3 past united. Listened to the game on soccer saturday on sky sports and the defense was supposed to be terrible!
As i said Arsenal for the title i believe, but i hope Utd don't do what they did when Newcastle were like 12 points ahead of them lol
Why is it that you dislike Arsenal so much anyway? Utd fan? |

The back four look very shaky now. Could cost them the title. Henry, in currant form would rip them apart. |

Yep, that good 'ol defence again. 5 points behind, still have to go to Highbury, and play Chelsea. Doesn't look good.

I hope they do! Did a similar thing last year, Arsenal were 7 or 8 points infront at one stage.

Yeah. Not as avid anymore though. It doesn't feel like the end of the world when they loose, like it used to feel! And I can readily admit how good a team like Arsenal are aswel!
I blatently only supported them because they started winning things, but I was young and impressionable! ( ;) ). At least I am honest about it, unlike most. |

United won, 4-3. |

^Rooney almost tied it up at last second, too. One of the more entertaining games this season.
Actually, Man U's Defence was leaking like a sieve with giant holes on it. Missing Ferdinand is hurting them this much? |

In a word, yes.
Since he last played in the league, United have let in 9 goals (including the Wolves goal after he went off injured) in 5 games.
Prior to that, 14 goals had been conceded in 20 games.
Quite a difference. |

True Ste, it just looked liked that him and Silvestre had built up quite a good partnership in central defence. Take one of them away, replace him with a player that has had more serious injuries than i've had hot dinners. Then move a very average midfielder to left-back, all adds up to disaster. |
