Something's Wrong with this Picture...

Alright here's the story. I set up my old computer for my 12 year old sister to use about 5 months ago. She doesn't have that much computer knowledge but she's learning.
Now here's where things begin to confuse me...no more than 2 weeks after she started using the computer she was making MP3 rips of her CDs she has, yet she doesn't know how to correctly use a search engine. Does anybody else see something wrong with this?:toothless
Isn't that a bit like running without learning how to walk?

using a search engine is an art! you have to know certain things. in russia, they have an annual search competition where people look for things online. |

There was a tv show in Finland where you had to search obscure info from the net using whatever method you preferred. Every week the best search engine user won a free broadband connection for a year.
The show got cancelled pretty quickly. Go figure. |
