what are you gonna be using it for?
thats the most important question when buying a machine. |

You could use an extra optical drive, and your video specs suck (if you have no AGP port available that really sucks no offense - but if you don't play games who cares I guess). Other than that it's good.
EDIT: I just realized you have an AGP card. I hope you investigated whether that board has an AGP slot. Assuming it does, then good. Though I think your card sucks overall, I woulda gotten a 9600Pro or something. But it ain't bad. |

OK it's obvious you've never "built" a computer before... So I'll give you my suggestions...

ASUS motherboard -- what type, the chipset, the specs?
AMD athlon3200 xp processor -- Get a 2500+ "barton" and oc it to 3200+ It is almost guaranteed
512mb memory -- What type? DDR400?
120Gb seagate SATA HD -- go with western digital
integrated 3D graphics -- EVIL!!!!
nVidia GeForce 5600 256Mb AGP video card -- its either one or the other buddy -- also, this card is a bad choice -- sucks (get ati radeon 9700pro or above)
dvd - cd combo -- I would not bother with a combo,, get them separate
16-10-48 cd-rw -- Dude why not go for the best (52x32x52 is only $35)

| Yea he didn't really specify did he. btw go with 9600Pro or up, not necessarily 9700 and up... This is a non-biased opinion btw. 9600Pro can hold it's own, and is DX9.0. |
